    I have a Canon MP300 All-in-One printer.

It keeps telling me that the printer is offline because of the paper
    thickness lever.

Only have 2 settings for this lever (normal paper and envlopes). Doesn't
matter where i position the lever, i still get the same error message.

Need ideas for a possible fix...........

    Thanks,
    savagcl

    Drop it off a tall building.....JUST KIDDING:eek:

Have you looked real hard to see if something is stuck/old paper jam?

Guessing that you've had the printer for a while and haven't always had the currnet problem?
