e-mail attachments

I am running Office 2003 on Windows XP Pro and have a problem with e-mail attachments. If I open an attachment and then hit "save as" I see a folder called OLK123 which seems to contain copies of every attachment sent or received since PC was put into use, even though the original e-mails have been deleted along with the associated attachments. If I try to find the folder using explore it's not visible, even though folder options are set to show hidden and protected system files. If I use "up level" when the folder is open it routes me back up to "Documents and settings ". A lot of this stored information is sensitive and I need to delete it but just can't find a way to do it.

 

Thanks Tony, yes I can delete the files from save as window but only one at a time and there are hundreds of them! Shift and control keys will not select multiple files in this window.

 

Used advance search for folders with system, hidden and sub folders selcted.

 

After a bit of head scratching found a couple of ways. You can delete the files from the outlook temp internet folder in the registry or open an attachment, click "save as ", cancel, close file but keep application open, click "open file" then select files and delete.
