OE will not remember my password,
and IE will not remember my username/password
for sites, even though I have it activated in options.
I've tried: http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/troub-01.html and it works fine, but never ask me this..Do you want to replace the permission on all existing subkeys within Protected Storage System Provider? I even went into the Registry on my other machine, and this one.. other machine(OE6/IE6/WinME) has POP3 Password2 entry for each account, this one doesnt. Since the accounts are the same, I exported on of the accounts from the registry on the other machine, and imported into this machines registry.. which works.. until i load up OE, it doesn't pickup the password, any ideas?

    None whatsoever...

However, I am a firm believer that I do NOT want IE or OE remembering any of my access/passwords.

More than sufficient OTHER programs out that will do the job when I want them to do it.

I travel to too many different sites, and many of those use cookies as well as java that may be harmful, All I need is a java script to be nice enough to forward my passwords... No thank you

I use other types programs key feed programs, that give me temp menu's then feed keystrokes to where I want them to go.

I habitually turn off Remember passwords every time the mosnter sticks it's head up.... But that is my opinion, and my personal rights...

    Possilly... But

Possibly, ... but Gator feeds you Adds inorder to pay for their services...

I have one that I thoroughly enjoy, it is written by a programmer from Ziff-Davis the Magazines.
    TypeItInPro32
With this one, you can multi program it, different pages for different things..
On each entry as well, you can program individual buttons for seperate menu's, and you click on the button quick menu then when you click on the item picked, it feeds it straight to the CPU input. Does not use the clipboard cache.

But It is my favorite, mainly because I got used to it.
I have multiple addresses, one in the US and one Outside of the US. And for this the other programs kind of fall down. Normally people only have the one address.
But then this is also good for other things as well.
If you have common keystrokes, as in VBScripting, you can program a majority of the commands into seperate similar types of menu's then let the Type It In do your keyboard feeding for you..and you don't have to worry too much about typos...?
also takes a bit of care for logging into your web pages to access them for maintenance, multiple E-mail Whatever you need to access, the thing is You tell it when to remember, because You have to program each entry.
but once programmed, it is always available.
