I've come to notice that other people did encounter the same problem on the forum as I did with their Linksys nic adapter (LNE100A0 or also known as LNE100TX rev2)...

Personally I've workaround this issue by going out and buy US Robotics nic adapters and not look back on Linksys anymore... But I still have the HOME NETWORKING package from Linksys with what I tought was at that time defective nics and a new-old computer to build up as printer server...

So now I need to make this thing work. I'm thinking, is it possible that the drivers that are coming with the package and those that are already available in Windows XP are not reliable?

Possible those are BETTER working drivers :

In all cases I'll try to keep you posted with my findings on the current issue.

I'm not sure what the HOME NETWORKING package is from Linksys, but I have never had any issues with Linksys cards.adapters. Just manually setup your networking connections.
