    Hi all--

I am trying to delete a bunch of temp files. One of them is very large and when I go to delete it it says that it's too big for recycling do I want to permanently delete it. I say yes and it says it can't be deleted. Any thoughts on how to kill it?
    Thanks.

Try changing your Recycle Bin properties. Either increase the size or change it so that deleted files don't go to the bin before it's deleted.

If a file can not be deleted from the temp folder it usually means that it is being used by something.

And if it is being used it may also indicated an improper ( or incomplete ) install of a program. Normally programs to not use the temp folder to run after an install.

Is the file associated with some program that is running at startup ?

Did you try bypassing the Recycle Bin with a Shift-Del?
