My boss has just purchassed a new Toshiba Satellite ( 2 Ghz, 1 meg ram) and he says that it seems to run slow. I know nothing about Vista, so any input with this problem would be appreciated. The only thing we have loaded onto this laptop is Trend Micro PC - cillin.

    Cheers

    1. get at least one more GB ram.
    2. optimize services and startup programs.

I run Vista on a Toshiba Satellite with 1GB Ram. After about 5 months now, I started to notice it slowing down. I did the usual clean-up: run anti-spyware/virus, defrag (auslogics), ccleaner, and disk cleanup. Now it's back to normal.

I do agree that adding another GB of ram would make a big improvement.
