   Does anybody know if there is a way to have a send/recieve icon on the desktop for Microsoft Outlook? This is so that I don't have to maximize outlook to check my mail. Note that I have outlook open all the time.

   Outlook should already be automatically checking for new mail every som many minutes. Is yours not auto checking?
   
   And there are no ways to send Outlooks functions to the desktop that I knoow of.
