    Hello,
Im new to these forums and just wandered if anyone knew/is experiancing the same problem as me.

I dont think that this is a problem with the actual send/Receive function, but thats all i can think of. When i send a message from a couple of people's computer (about 3/4 out of nearly 40) the message sticks in their outbox, though the other person actually receives it. And the same people also have to click out of the inbox every once in a while to check messages, as they dont arrive when its just there, they have to click, say, sent items and then any e-mails that were sent to them arrive while they are in sent.

I have checked all options and compared to my own computer, which works normally, and the settings are all the same. Bit of an annoyance, but i have searched all over the place and at every turn im left at square one!

Double check the More Settings->Advanced tab->SMPT settings. Make sure they are using the same port number....

Guessing that the option might not be there if you're using Exchange Server..

Does the Outbox ever empty? Or does it just take a while for it to empty?

Do these user have a HUGE Signature file maybe?

Wouldn't hurt to do HELP->Detect and Repair (you might be prompted for the office cd)

Do the machines in question have SP3 installed?

I did a detect and repair straight away and no change. The e-mails send but stay in your outbox untill you click onto a differant folder, of close outlook. And she has no signature.

Office update has been run fully also.
Sorry for being a pain, but this is really bugging me!
