Cant stop Messenger loading with Outlook Express 6

    Can anyone help me with this, I have unchecked the "Automatically connect to windows messenger" box in OE and "Run windows messenger when windows starts" and also "Allow windows messeger to run in the background" within Windows messenger but the Windows messenger contacts still load within OE when I start it, how can I stop it loading with OE?
