Win XP SP3 [Need to uninstall IE7 before applying SP3?]

    Today, Wed 5/7/2008, windows update offered me the option to download/install Win XP SP3. I have read about the issue of uninstalling IE7 if you already have it installed on your XP system. Other than this, is XP SP3 worth the trouble installing?

    Not sure what the issue is, but I have IE 7 and I installed SP3 without any issues or problems. So far, everything seems just fine.

    Installed XP SP3 and so far no problems.

    Did SP3 update today thru Windows Update and all went perfectly.
    Download time via cable 12 min
    Install time 12 min
    Reboot time 4 min
    Total time 28 min

    Programs load a LOT faster now
