    Hi i would really appreciate if someone could give me a lil insight on what to do, i have both the IE and the mozilla firefox but do prefer the firefox but at the moment neither of them will load certain web pages, myspace being one of them, i will type it in the address bar but no loading bars will come up on either explorer! This has only happened the last couple of days and i dont know how to fix it! Could someone please help me?!

    Try ping

    Try to ping the site using the command prompt:
    Start-->Run-->cmd.exe
    ping www.myspace.com

    If you get something like:
    Esecuzione di Ping www.myspace.com [216.178.38.131] con 32 byte di dati:

    Risposta da 216.178.38.131: byte=32 durata=225ms TTL=244
    Risposta da 216.178.38.131: byte=32 durata=224ms TTL=244
    Risposta da 216.178.38.131: byte=32 durata=225ms TTL=244
    Risposta da 216.178.38.131: byte=32 durata=229ms TTL=244

    Statistiche Ping per 216.178.38.131:
    Pacchetti: Trasmessi = 4, Ricevuti = 4, Persi = 0 (0% persi),
    Tempo approssimativo percorsi andata/ritorno in millisecondi:
    Minimo = 224ms, Massimo = 229ms, Medio = 225ms

    then the preblem is in the browser, otherwise the problem is in the network.

    In Windows XP, go Start>Run
    In Vista, go Start>StartSearch

    Type in:
    cmd

    In Windows XP, click OK.
    In Vista, hit Enter.

    Command Prompt window will open.
    Type in:
    regsvr32 wuapi.dll (<----watch for "space" after "regsvr32 ")
    Hit Enter.

    Repeat same regsvr32 command for following files:
    wuaueng.dll
    wucltui.dll
    wups.dll
    wuweb.dll
    atl.dll
    softpub.dll
    wintrust.dll
    initpki.dll

    dssenh.dll
    rsaenh.dll

    See, if you can connect, when you use "
    Start>All Programs>Mozilla Firefox>Mozilla Firefox (safe mode)?
    Do you use Windows Defender?
    What Windows version is it?

    * Unzip HostsXpert.zip
    * It will create a folder named HostsXpert in whatever folder you extract it to.
    * Run HostsXpert.exe by double clicking on it.
    * click the Make Writeable? button.
    * click Restore Microsoft's Hosts File and then click OK.
    * Click the X to exit the program
