Wireless Problem!

    Hi everybody, i have a problem with my wireless network.
    In my wireless network, i have two SSID with the same names "WebSTAR" when i connect in one of these twos, it automatically connect me with other SSID with the same name, the windows changes SSID automatically and i do not want this thing to happen to me. what should i do? How can i resolve this problem?

    If these are two different networks, you need to rename one of the SSID. The whole point of an ID is that it is unique, otherwise it not a useful identifier.

    i'm afraid i can't rename the SSID, because i'm only a client in one of these networks.

    We can't help you, the administrator of the respective networks has to change the SSID.

    have them on different channels
    you might think that it would flip between the two
    in most cases it seems to log onto the strongest one
    make sure that your internet connection sharing is not on

    Surely if you have the access privileges to be able to channel, you could also change the SSID!
