Description on folders

    Hi guys,

    I am new to the forum, so hello.

    My question is:- when I turned my computer on this morning and went to my computer all the folders were visible but there was no wording below them, when I hovered over them I could see the wording but it wasnt visible. this is probally something very simple so can someone help me.

    Hi Leigh

    Normally this happens when you change the screen background to match the text of the letters on the label.

    Imagine a white wall with blue writing then painting the wall the same color as the words.

    Rt click a blank space on the desktop then chose properties then desktop in the bottom right is a pull down choea a couple of different colors and let us know the results.

    hi Mike,

    I see where your coming from but it hasnt worked. every folder is visible but there is no name visible to the folders, but if you hover over a folder it will give you the folder name this is also files.
