I have a DVD burning problem... I have been burning DVDs for years...NOW over the last few weeks I have tried burning some DVDs and Im getting "disk error" when I try to play them in my DVD player... any idea what the issue could be? My drive? The files? I use ConvertXtoDVD and never had any problems before... Im at a total loss.
    OS-WinXP

    Thanks!

I tried an experiment. I tried to play the DVD in the DVD drive in my PC and it worked fine. The DVD player thats hooked to my TV thats giving me the "disk error" message is only 8 months old.
Sill think its the DVD burner?

The burns which do not play in stand alone, are they from the same batch or a different batch of blank DVD's ??

The DVD's are from different batches (old ones and new ones). I ran another test last night. I burned the same movie files using the same type disks using my laptop burner. The disks played perfect on the DVD player.
The problem seems to be the DVD burner in my PC since the problem only occurs when I use that one to burn. My solution: replace the PC burner. Hopefully, that will take care of the issue. To be continued...........
