Windows Vista Processor Detect Error

    Hardware Environment : Processor Pentium D 915 , Motherboard ASUS p5ld2-se

    By using comand line "systeminfo ":

    "1 processors instaled "

    By using hardware Management, I can see two processors.

    By using task manager, two processors can be seen too....

    I wouldn't worry about it....systeminfo is probably only counting the number of actual cpu's and not the number of cores.

    That's normal - from Sysinfo on my dual core AMD .....

    Sysinfo is an old program even though it is in XP - it appears just the same as it did in Win 98 - before the days of twin core processors.

    I really do not understand why you are so concerned about this, which as I posted previously, is completely normal behaviour :)
