    Hi ,

I have two issues concerning windows email in windows vista
1)On selecting contacts ,earlier I use to see in menu items like view, burn, organize, print , email etc but now I am not able to see "email" .
what should i do?? to retore this.

2)How can i organize all my contacts on left pane below inbox ,sent folders similar to what was possible in earlier version outlook express, as it was making comfortable to select my contact from address book and double click to sent email ,whereas now it is little tidious as first I have to click contacts , then new page will open and thereafter again have to locate my contact and then select email options from either menu to send email or file>action>send email, does anyone have better way to do all this.

When the Contacts window opens, several buttons are not available. Select a contact (put the focus on the right-hand pane where the contacts are listed) and those buttons appear.

So far, I've found no way to display the contacts list in a pane (like OE allowed) in the main Windows Mail window.

    CONTACT LIST
Sadly, they have been removed in Windows Mail. You could put the Contacts in the Sidebar, via the Windows Orb (Start) > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Sidebar then add the Contacts (and any other gadgets you want) by clicking the plus sign at the top. Now click on the Contacts "˜shaded’ box and drag it to the Desktop to give a bigger and better display as an "˜open book‘.

    AUTOCOMPLETE
Windows Mail auto-completion doesn't use the Contacts list (address book). Instead, it uses a separate list of the last 29 addresses you sent messages to. That list is stored in the registry and is not easy to edit. You could delete the key and start from scratch. To delete it, go to the Windows Orb (Start), type regedit, press Enter and navigate to registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail and delete Recently Used Addresses. Create a system restore point before making the deletion, just in case you have problems.

    I think I understand you.

In your number 4 above, just click the down arrow alongside Organise then Layout and choose what you want.
