This question is directed to those who use Spybot S&D. Do you use the Teatimer (which is installed and turned on by default)? or do you choose to not install it? What exactly does the Teatimer do and is it something that is more or less tied to one's using Internet Explorer? Given that my default browser is Firefox, is it best that I avoid installing Teatimer?

    Thanks.

TeaTimer has nothing to do with your browser...

    Personally, I don't use it.

I have the TeaTimer component of Spybot Search & Destroy disabled in my desktop because I use Webroot Spy Sweeper's memory-resident spyware protection instead.

Thanks. Given that I run other anti-spyware in the background, it probably is best that I not install TT. Appreciate the input.
