I have a Toshiba laptop that I have had for about 2 years.

I want to reinstall windows on it but it never came with a actual XP disk. I bought it new from newegg.com. It runs Windows XP tablet edition.

There are only 2 disks that I have for it, the first lets me install Toshiba programs that come with the computer. I see nothing for xp itself.
The second is somewhat strange. When I put the disk in nothing happens. I looked to see what was on it and I see this:

Is this disk what I need to reinstall?
If so, how should I go about doing it. Or is there something I am missing.

Is there anything I need to know before trying to reinstall without the actual disk?

    Thanks for any help, :)

    Hello Gears11,
    welcome to WindowsBBS ... :) ... !

That disk contains an Image, probably of the system in factory fresh condition. If you put it in the tray and restart the computer, it should be bootable. Read the manual or search for anything "Toshiba" in "Start > All Programs" and you may find some directions on how to use it.

It will wipe the system completely during restoration and all documents, Emails and addresses will be lost.
