I changed from a PS/2 keyboard and mouse to a wireless usb keyboard and mouse. Mouse is fine. The Keyboard has a few keys that are not working correctly. The right arrow sends the cursor down. The biggest headache is the space bar. It puts in a space, but also shifts the insert key. So you overtype a lot of text by accident. I tried two other USB keyboards of different brands and still the same problem. I think the keyboard driver is corrupted. I tried deleting the driver and letting it reinstall, but still the same thing. What can I do?

    Lowell100 - Welcome to the Board :)

Have you installed the keyboard software - e.g. Intellitype for MS and selected the correct keyboard in the software?

It is a Samsung Pleomax wireless keyboard. Doesn't come with any drivers and checked there web site. I just plugged it i and let windows load the driver. In Device Manager it is listed as a HID device. I also tried another wired USP keyboard and the same exact problem.

Might there be software installed for a previous keyboard? Check through Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs.

You could try testing it in Safe Mode. That might confirm that a secondary software program is the cause.
