Windows Mail - Can't Open Attachment

    Please help me to open an attachment. To do that I need to create an association in the Set Association control panel. Can somebody help to find where it is.

    The message generally means you do not have the necessary program installed to open the attachment.

    What is the full name and extension of the attachments?

    Thank you very much.
    I am not sure but looks like this is full extension of the attachments: Mom.xls type: Microsoft office Excel 97-2003 worksheet.

    Do you have Microsoft Office and or Excel installed?

    If not, there is "free viewer" that will allow you to open (but not change) excel files.

    If you DO have excel, try saving the attachment to you hard drive and then try and open it.
