I just wanted to take the time to say "Thank You ".

It seemed only reasonable to do so since someone (noahdfear) took the time to help me correct my trojan problem and asked nothing in return.

The individuals who post solutions here, work all day, then sit in front of their computers into the night tapping keys to help people all over the world with nasty problems and they do it for FREE.

Most people with my limited knowledge of the internal workings of a computer have no recourse but to turn to computer repair shops for help when things go wrong. But it certainly was rewarding to do it myself (with help) this time.

I figure I saved at least $100 of bench time with the help I recieved here for free. Thats not including the pricey software that some tech would try to sell me.

It seems only fitting that I "Pay It Up" in the form of a donatin to keep this Forum up and running so that the next time I do something "stupid" it will still be here.

Once again my thanks to noahdfear for his patience and help

I'm very happy I was able to help, and you are welcome. It's as rewarding to me to help someone as it is for them, like you, to resolve the problem on their own. In my opinion, the best part(s) of working through the problem on your own is the knowledge gained and the increased awareness of the need for safer surfing habits, tighter security, etc.

Contributions to the forum are not only appreciated, they're vital. Thank you!
