Can someone please tell me how I can have 5 Columns accross in excel with headings....Then turn on Grid lines to be part of the 5 columns and also 35 rows down so that when printed you will have gridlines, not only on the headings but Gridlines...covering all the way down. This way the boxes can be written into. Even just to be able to print a sheet with gridlines only would also work...Thanks for your time. Have a wonderful day!!!

Highlight the area you want to work with.

Somewhere in that highlighted area, right-click~format cells~border and choose the sort of grid lines you want.

    Lines only

Could not figure that out....I will try to explain better, sorry.

Is there a way (please show me) to open a blank excel sheet and print it so as to print a sheet with just Gridlines on it so you can write in the boxes with a pen or pencil after the sheet is printed??

    THanks again.

On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.
Under Print, select the Gridlines check box.
    Click OK.

On earlier versions (97 and back):

On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Other Options tab.
Select the Print Gridlines check box.
    Click OK.

Zephyr has it right except that nothing will print if there is no information in at least one cell.

What I usually do is find the last cell (lower right hand side) and type anything, usually a period, and change the font color to white (or whatever the color of the paper in use is). Now you have a sheet full of gridlines that you can handwrite information into. :D
