I am having trouble attaching a USB wireless keyboard/mouse combo to my notebook.

My understanding is that a USB wireless keyboard/mouse combo is a plug and play device, but each time it appears to "plug and play" or work in any way at all it disappears.

Sometimes the mouse works, but immediately I try to establish a wireless connection with the keyboard the mouse stops working.

I was using a Belkin while I was in the UK, it worked perfectly, but had to leave it behind because I was overweight.

The problem seems to be with my USB ports

Is it possible to use my Device Manager to fix the problem? If so how?

Is there any other way of fixing the problem?

    FYI

    What Manual!!!!!!

Even tried installing the software but it only has rubbish on it &, nothing that will set the combo up
    .
The chinglese "instructions" sheet showing how to set it up describe a plug and play procedure

Oh mate, I hate using touch pads and note book keyboards! This is driving me bonkers!!

    Thanks Steve!!!

It is a Logitech Cordless Desk Top EX110

    Pete

    BTW
I do not think it is just a Logitech combo problem. I started off with a SKY RF 27 combo because it had a rechargable mouse. But that did not work properly either and when I finally got the keyboard to work the layout was so "chinglish" that it was impossible to adjust to using it!!! I then bought the Logitech because it had a conventional keyboard
