What in gods name can I do. I mean windows doesnt load rite it just says done, or errors on page and the above issue Its like the end of the world lol.. Help please!

Hi, Amrekia !

Hmmmm..... Did you find all of those entries by yourself, or did you use a Registry "Cleaner" to do the looking ?

Mr. Jones is probably right, remove just one "WRONG" entry and you could thoroughly hose your system!

BTW : I'm not a "Registry Detective ", but it looks to me that all of those "Uninstaller Reference Issue" entries with a "KB" number are for Microsoft Windows Updates, Patches, and Hot Fixes ". If you look in your Windows folder (Usually in C:\WINDOWS) you'll find all of their cooresponding folders right at the top (alphabetically).

If you're using a "Registry Cleaner ", GO SLOW! All Registry Cleaners are NOT created equal. Be VERY cautious about what you allow it to delete. AND, before you allow it to do anything, back up your Registry and set a Restore Point FIRST!

If you derived your extensive list from the Microsoft update site-open it and in upper right corner uncheck the box where it says "show all updates ".Then reopen the site and check the list you now see. It should be very much shorter

 

I too would like to find out how you found these Registry "problems ".

I have never had a problem using CCleaner for cleaning my Windows XP SP2 registry, but then again, others may have encountered problems with it.

The Microsoft OneCare Online scanner does a pretty good job with their Registry cleaner component. Never had a problem with this one either, and wouldn't expect to, since I would assume Microsoft knows how to properly address Registry problems in Windows. However, it may be a totally different story when it comes to entries from other installed software.
