Subject line says all - makers say Fujifilm, Philips both 120 min 4.7 Gb. Annonying thing is I did format some a few months ago & now nothing like format on any menu I can see on eg Win Explorer from XP SP2 or Nero 7 Ultra. Makers DVD RW web sites very bewildering.

If you put the dvdrw in the drive and then rt click its icon in My Comp, format should be availabe to select.

tried both from My Comp no format or erase menu selection - panel just says its file system is RAW & to think I did format once upon a time - use it or loose it (tried on my laptop XP SP2) no joy either

    Taking a guess ...
You have Nero 7 Ultra, which comes with InCD.
InCD and a properly formatted CD/DVD allows you to "Drag and Drop" files to CD/DVD as if it was a floppy disc.
IF this is what you did, you will need to load/run InCD, insert previously formatted DVD and choose an option to erase / remove format.
Once this is done, you can close InCD.
Let us know and members / myself can provide suggestions for writing files to your DVD-RW without using InCD ... a program which can be a difficult to live with.

    MEMO
You may need to terminate InCD from running processes. Once loaded, it likes to stay resident after you closed program view.
