There is one particular website in which i am unable to upload content to, and it's seriously bugging me.

I go into the admin control panel, and select a file to upload to the server (all through a web interface). Now, the file will start uploading quickly, and eventually slow right down until it stops and then gives me a "connection interrupted" error.
It doesn't matter what size the file is, it just always happens. This only happens to me, and it's only this one site.

I have cleared all my private data, tried Firefox 2, Firefox 3beta and IE explorer, but, same thing

    Why is this happening?

I am running Vista Business 32bit and am on the following internet connection: JANET Network.

    Any helps appreciated. Thanks.

It could be your Firewall. I would not know not knowing which site it is, though.

    Alex,

What site is it that has the problem with uploading files? Have you by chance tried contacting the webmaster of the site? Do you have this problem on any other sites?

    This is the site: http://files.totalgamingnetwork.com/

I have full admin access there, and have asked the other admins and no one seems to have the same problem but me. And it's only this one site i have issues with.

    I am using Zonealarm firewall.

Try to disable Zone Alarm, and see if it works. Considering that I would not care to go through the entire routine, and you are the only one with access problems, I will not try to test the site.
Could it be Vista? Check with the other people if anyone has Vista. This operating system has created unique problems to some people.

Other people with Vista can upload fine.

In fact, i just found out that it is now happening to other sites. I tried to upload a 10mb file to Megaupload, and it started at 20kb/s and just kept dropping until it was at about 2.5kb/s, then i gave up?

    Alex,

Did you disable ZoneAlarm, and then try to upload?

Right, i disabled zonealarm, AVG and Avast, and it worked.

I actually suspect there may have been an incompatibility between Avast and AVG since some modules of each program do the same thing. Maybe they were fighting each other.

Never the less, thanks for the help. I hope it continues to work :p

As a rule of thumb, you don't want to have two active antivirus programs.
For a long time, I had McAfee, while AVG was inactive, except for tests. Eventually, I had the choice between a free program which worked, and one for fee which I disliked.
Disable one of the two antivirus, or, actually reenable of them, and see if it is an antivirus problem. Then, reenable Zone Alarm, and see what it does.
