Hi, I have a small problem with the display settings on my PC. I set it to classic style, but whenever I turn the PC on or reboot it, it is back to the "normal" XP style. It has done so from right after the installation. Reinstalling didn't seem to help in this case. Is this a hardware problem (CMOS-battery, RAM, etc?) or maybe related to the registry? I am the only user on that PC, no other accounts.

I've been trying to figure it out for a bit now, but no success. If anyone has a clue I'd really appreciate it!

Martijn - Welcome to the Board :)

Not an elegant solution, but one which is reported to work .....

Select Classic Theme - then go to Services and disable the Themes service. Reboot and see if the problem is resolved.
