photos load into desktop background

    I need to know how to get my downloaded pictures from ging into the desktop backgound folder. they do go to my pictures but for some reason also appear there(desktop) don't need duplicates. does anyone know how to delete them. thanks for any help.

    Not putting the pictures into your "My Picture" folder will help.

    To expand just a bit on what Steve said, any pictures you put in your My Pictures folder will show up in the desktop appearance thing when you go to change your wallpaper.

    However, they aren't actually duplicate pictures. The ones you see there are the ones in your My Pictures folder. That's where it gets them from. The "desktop backgound folder" and your My Pictures folder are one in the same.
