User profile "access denied" loading default

    hi,
    when my computer gets to the user selection screen on windows start up i try to access through my user profile but get the error msg box stating that my "user profile cannot be started , loading default user" reason "Access Denied" it gives a count down of 30 secs i click ok and it loads my user profile . could you please tell me how to rectify this problem.

    Once your logged in, open My Computer, find: c:\documents and settings\<your username>

    Right click on the folder and select properties, then click the security tab, then click Advanced, then on the owner tab, select your name, tick the "Take ownership of all subfolders and files" then click apply.

    Once done log off and back on again and see if the problem is gone.

    hi
    i have logged in, open My Computer, find: c:\documents and settings\<your username>
    then im stuck as there is no security tab, there is an advanced tab which opens advance attributes:confused:
