[IE6 - font & script] error messages

    have always been able to receive emails in "arial" but now have received error message: cannot find or create this font 'arial' some characters may not display or print correctly Split to new thread ....

    I have not changed any settings in IE6 and these pages have worked perfectly up until recently

    I really hope you can help me and will appreciate any help I receive

    biddie42 - Welcome to the Board :)

    In addition to Arie's post please do not post problems on two different subjects in the same forum - there is a forum dedicated to Outlook Express Please start a new thread there outlining your email font problem.

    For IE check your settings under Tools > Internet Options > Advanced ....

    Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) should be checked

    Disable script debugging (other) should be unchecked

    Display a notification about every script error should be unchecked

    You are running IE 6 and should seriously consider updating to IE 7 which is far more secure.

    Thank you for your reply PeteC.

    I did what you said and now it is all "jumbly" jargon. Still unable to read in Arial.

    I will update to IE7 and see if that helps. Is Firefox a better browser than IE?

    If I do use Firefox will it correct this error in Outlook Express?

    This is the problem when one thread addresses two different problems - I don't know what you are referring to here :) ...
    What is all 'jumbly jargon - IE or OE. Please clarify.
