    Dear Experts,

Today i install windows xp professional with SP2 , but the problem which i am facing is this that when ever i click any drive it opens it in new window and than each every single folder opens in new window, i tried many ways to open it in same window but none of them work, following is the solutions i found on the net but no luck

1: I run the registry file called "samenewwidow "
2: I tried to change the View of the folder under the folder options

its like nothing worked for me, please help me ?

P:S i tried to reset the folder options view, browse etc, but now the C: drive works all perfect but D and E drive opens in new window and also takes lil more time in opening than normal timing to open the folder?

    Try this:
Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > uncheck Launch folder windows in a new process.

Following on from TonyT's line - then check Apply to all Folders.
