    Hi
when i bought the Netgear DG834GT because of my lack of basic comp skills i got an engineer to set up my wireless internet between 2 computers both to be wireless , when he set it up he firstly had to use the ethernet cable to install the internet onto the main comp then set configured both the comps to be wireless , but not long after my wireless conection was very poor ,so i have moved the router to next to the main comp and have the wire less adaptor sat on top of the router ( defeating the object a bit ) still getting interference with connection so plugged the ethernet back in but my comp doesnt recognise it .
How do i revert from wireless back to hard wired so i dont keep losing connection.!!!!

If the router is set up as standard, you should just be able to disconnect the wireless adapter from your computer, and connect to the router from your wired network card to one of the four LAN ports on the router.

Below is the Netgear FAQ page that might well have useful information for you.
