first of all, Hi. im luis, new member.

ive tryed Mcafee and they didnt helped me,instead they sent me here.

    ok, here is my prblem..

i re installed my Vista. and when i retreaved all the files from the folder of the previous installation, also know as "windows.old ", i tryed to delete the folder so itll give me back some memory.

i deleted all the files in it except for one folder that it asked me to skip because it couldnt be deleted.

when i tryed switching the security of the folder. this thing showed up

when i tryed looking for that in the folder, nothing was in the folder. it showed empty.

then some dude told me to try Tweak UI, and then suddenly the folder disappear with out me doing anything and i didnt ran the thing. and when i tryed, nothing happend. only the little weiting circle appeared.

so,what can i do to make sure the thing its gone?

    thanks in advance.

    Luis.

This is how you remove the Windows.old folder:

In the Start Search box, type disk clean. Disk Cleanup will now be listed at the top of the Start menu.

In Which files to clean up dialog click on Files from all users on this computer. Select the drive where your Windows.old is. In Disk Cleanup dialog, select Previous Windows installation(s) in the Files to delete list. Click on OK.
