    Hi,
I know I can change folder options to open a new folder either inside the the same folder, or in it's own window. Sometime I want to change between the two options fairly quickly. Is there any easier way to do this than going to control panel, opening folder options, and choosing one or the other? Thanks!

kptrpt - Welcome to the Board :)

Quickest route in Windows Explorer is Tools > Folder Options or use the Folder Options icon on the iconbar.

If the Folder Options icon is not on the iconbar go View > Toolbars > Customise and add it.
