Anyone ever had a PC2 port go bad?

    My keyboard quit working and after going through unplugging it etc, it still wouldn't work. I went to device manager to uninstall it, it wasn't there. I used another keyboard and it wouldn't work. I went and picked up a PC2 to USB adapter and everything is cool now. Just wondered if anyone else has had a problem like that?

    Not personally, but everything is possible :) Does sound as if your PS/2 port failed.

    Thanks for responding PeteC, most are watching the Daytona 500 about now, including my wife.:D

    I don't think that is live this side of the pond - anyway I don't have satellite TV :)
