hi! i am new with this forum stuff, so bear with me. I recently added a new user to the accounts. I put him as a limited account. Well now i switched him to an administrator so he can view all folders on the computer. now theres just one problem. every time he tried to go to another user to view that person's music, pictures, or whatever, he gets an "Access is Denied" error :(, lol. Who can tell me how to make it to where he can view other people's stuff on the computer? i would greatly appreciate it!! thank you! ;):)

I like Pete don't understand restriction to My Computer?? Restricted accnts restrict access to certain functions etc but does not restrict My Computer from functioning. It will restrict My Computer from access to private files!

When you created the account that denies access you selected the option to "keep these files private ". This mean only the user of this account has access to these files.

Answer is to log in to the denying account and copy or move just the files you wish the second acct to see into Shared folders or other public folders.
