Windows Vista problem with viewing options

excuse my bad english!

i try to explain my problem: i cant adjust the viewing options in the setting menue for wlan (network-center -> manage wireless network).

also there was a few weeks ago a status display at the bottom...how to make windows to display this status info?

What I THINK you would like to do is to put an icon into the Notification Tray to show network/internet activity.

I cannot find an easy way to show the "Network Activity" icon in the Notification Tray (and I am not running wireless at the moment ).

You could try going to Control Panel -> Networking and Sharing Center, in the menu on the left hand side, run Set up a network or connection. You can make a new connection. You will need to know the internet connection details.

Most problems with internet connection can be handled by going to Start -> Network or Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center.

You can delete/uninstall/remove your current internet connection. You can then use the disk/information supplied by your ISP to remake the connection the way you would like (it worked before).

Watching the activity and status of the connection by an icon in the Notification Tray, I have only set up when making a new connection. Activity appears to be icons flashing.

I cannot find a setting to add or remove the activity icon after the connection has been set up.

If your English is not very good, put the problem another way or tell us you what you do not understand (we don't mind, we are trying to understand somebody else's computer, let alone their English ).
