It wasnt until recently that I have started experiencing this issue. As I delete any files from my folders to the recycle bin, after the task itself had already been done, the windows showing the time-left / progression of the deleting of that file should have closed. I have tested this one smaller files such as text documents and new folders, and I seem to be experiencing this issue immediately after clicking "apply" to the properties of files such as .mp3 files. Is there a possible solution to this issue?

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit

It may be caused by some context (right click) menu entry.
I had similar problem with Roxio entry.
    Download ShellExView: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
Click on Type column, so you have all Context Menu entry together, and disable all non-Micro$oft entries.
    Try deleting sample file again.
If it works, start enabling disabled entries one-by-one, until you'll find the culprit.

Hi AnimeSpiritz. I believe that this is an issue with Vista itself. This is one of the problems that Windows Vista SP1 is going to fix. There really isn't a solution other than to wait for Vista SP1 to be released next month and see if it corrects your issue. ;)

This is true. I just wonder, why some people are experiencing this problem more, some less...

personally, I thought it was a problem caused by something i've done, since I didnt have these issues previously. but if it's true, i'll look forward to the service pack.
