I have having issues with the CSC folder size caused by Offline Files, i have followed the details at http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=56934 and also read the article on the MS site it points to.

CSC folder was 40GB, I deleted both the temporary offline versions and the versions that are always available offline. It took about 10mins but the Offline files folder was now empty. I checked the Windows/CSC folder and it was 35GB.

Is there anything I can do to reduce this size? I think i know what caused this issue. I had 3 mapped network drives (M:, T: & U: ) on my PC, one (U: ) was pretty big, so i disconnected from it the hope that this would reduce the size of CSC/Offline Files as the files would no longer be cached. Ideally I would want a situation where M: & T: are cached and available offline. I also want to be have the U: mapped again, but I do not want this cached or to be available when offline as it is pretty big.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have spent some time searching the web and this CSC problem remains unresolved by many online and on this forum. Does anyone not have any ideas?
