One of my PC's is not the most stable it can sometimes bring a blue screen with "shutting down windows to prevent damage to your computer.
Mobo is Socket A ASUS A7V600-X with KT600 chipset loaded are the 4 in 1 drivers but VIA have new drivers VIA Hyperion pro 515a suitable for this chipset, should I install them or not.

I would be inclined to install them - 4 in 1 drivers are many years out of date, but you may find that they are in fact the same the Hyperion drivers on offer for your chipset.

As to installing them in terms of resolving your problems I would not hold your breath :)

thanks Pete, I have installed them and they installed without hiccups I am always somewhat skeptical when it comes to updating drivers, some people here recommend to always update to the newest drivers, whereas I only do when I have some problems as I did in this case like you say I won't hold my breath, VIA especially recommend them for they're KT400- KT600 and some more chipsets running XP with some instability issues I have a second PC also with a KT600 chipset but on a Gigabyte board and I have never had a issue with this PC and I will not update with the new drivers on that board I see no reason for it.
I'll wait and see if I see any difference.
