Please don't shoot me if if there is no place for this Question here.
I got myself a little USB Set Top Box so I can watch digital TV on my Monitor. I don't know the difference say in the US or Canada to Australia, but someone might have enough knowledge in cabling to know. I have a great picture on my 22" Monitor but I only have digital RG6 cable half way to a splitter box and from there to the connector on the wall and to the USB HDTV Receiver I have the old style 75 ohm coax cable. Would digital cable all the way trough make it even better or would it not be noticeable, as I said the picture quality is great.
    just curious

    Hi Hawk,
Try searching or asking at this forum:
    http://www.dtvforum.info/

Check the connection and reception info here:
    http://www.dba.org.au/#

Shielded cable seems to be the most important point.

Test it for as long as you like. "If it ain't broke... ":)

Thanks Matt, I am actually registered with DTV and have done a lot of searching on there. Biggest problem with that Forum is, it is stacked with quite a few professionals good in one way but not in another as the regular advice given is consult a professional technician to test your setup.
Call out fee $100.- after that $80 an hr. and as I am basically happy with the picture and just would like to find out if it actually could be improved by re-cabling with RG6 coax I am not prepared to pay this sort of money for that.
    Guess I just keep trying.
