I have been trying to get my main dc to sync and can not, i have configured it as per Microsofts specs, i have also made sure my GP is set to "not configured" but when i type at cmd "w32tm /resync" i get this

"the computer did not resync because no time data was available pdc "

i have no idea what to do next, i have searched for hours and hours on google and they all say the same thing....

    Please any thoughts...

Let me know what you figure out. I haven't been able to even get an XP desktop to sync in months.

Not sure what you are trying to get your time from but XP and W2K3 required one other change in the registry. If doing it by the registry most bits were in the w32time\parameters section however there is also an AnnounceFlags value in w32time\config that needs to be set to 5.

We validate our servers and our non Novell clients against one of our routers that picks the time up from the net.
