    I have made a Data CD (R & RW both), containing text and pictures, that works fine in Win XP SP2, from the auto.inf file. In Vista I get "Can not access the registry ". This happens with a R or RW disk made by the program in Vista as well as from the Nero program in the Win XP mchine.

    Vista can see the data files on the CD but not display the media.

    Any help appreciated. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but I think it is a Vista problem.

    The auto.inf file has the following:

    [autorun]
    open=FastMenu\FastMenu.exe
    icon=FastMenu\Gen_CD.ico

    Made with a program called Fast Menu, old program from Win 98. Made tyhe file in 2000 or there about.

    SOLVED
    It was a software problem. Hiden file on CD looked for information not recognized by Vista.

    Thank You
