I was never taken aback by the fact that I was not getting a reminder to send messages later. They are in the Drafts folder, and I can see them.
Someone brought out the fact that Usent Messages were not being sent.
The only way to get a reminder is to select File|Send later.
After searching here and there, I found that there was an Unsent Messages folder in Local Folders. That was the place where the message went. I find this a nuisance, since I can just select to Save the message.
So, I get a reminder for an invisible message (in Unsent Messages|Local Folders), and I don't for a visible one, in Drafts.
    The about:config line is: mail.default_sendlater_uri with a Value of : mailbox//nobody@Local%Folders/Unsent%Messages
Would creating a line with value of: mailbox//nobody@Drafts remind me that there are messages to be sent in the Drafts folder, only if Send Later is selected from File|Send later?
Just curious. I don't see the need for this, having broadband.

    Westside,

I tried your suggestion, and I received the "Cannot save to sent folder" error, and when I tried the "try again" option the message wasn't saved to ANY folder.

I'm not programmer literate enough to be able to find the right tweak. However, this is an interesting question, and I will check out MozillaZine to see if any of the guru's over there can tell us whether or not it is possible...

    Greetings

Looks to me like you can have ONLY one folder for unsent messages....

You can have unsent messages placed in any "Legitimate" folder that you select:
mailbox://nobody@Local%20Folders/Drafts - will place them in Local Folders under Drafts directory....

You can also create the folder in ANY account folder you chose:
    See:
    http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/ns7unsent.html

    for detailed instructions.

HOWEVER.....when you select "send unsent messages" it will send ALL messages from the selected folder......

Nice excersise in futility.....does not seem to accomplish very much over what is already there.....Unsent messages in "Local folders - Unsent messages ".

    captjlddavis,

That's what I basically tried, but it doesn't appear to work in TB... The folder can be created, but is useless.

As you say, it is a futile exercise, certainly for those of us with Cable.

I haven't even tried, but it seemed to an exercise in futility. I save my messages, automatically, in the Drafts folder (often e-mails with no content).
I wonder if the developers, ever, looked at this fun stuff.
