I have a rudimentary spreadsheet set up that gives me the total value of stocks, mutual funds. In the column the shows the product of number of shares and value per share, I am limited to 5 digits. My daughter's total value just went over 6 digits. That is, her value went over 100,000. Now, instead of showing something like 98, 898, it shows ########. When I hold the cursor over that box, it does show the actual value in that box. How can I make it show the value? Thanks.

You need to make the column wider. Place the cursor on the line between the two cells on the column letter bar until it turns into a double headed arrow. Left click and hold and drag the column wider until all the numbers appear and the ####### disappears. See attached picture. Sorry the double headed arrow doesn't show on the picture but it would be at the point of the arrow between Column C & D.
