I uninstalled Offc 2000 (by mistake) and now it won't re-install.
It goes 3/4 into the installation and then it freezes (MS Office 2000 not installing). I think a file is missing. Any other clues?

    Problem solved

I had to re-download/re-install IE5/OE5 in order for Office 2000 to install. Office 2000 was stalling, wouldn't load.

Found out it was comingled with the other two programs with shared components. If one of the vital components is lost, it effects the other programs.

One last comment: MS is an insidious evil company. I now use Netscape 6 & Opera for browser and email. Much faster, much smoother, prettier and less intrusive.
