Is there any way in IE6 to prevent windows from originating off-center? Whether pop-ups or new windows that I have requested through pushing a button or link, it seems more and more windows are originating with the X to close the window off-screen. I wish I could have every new window be maximized.

    Hi Tom in Dallas -

Auto Sizer is the app for you.

AutoSizer automatically resizes any window you specify. For instance, some web browsers open up in a non-maximized window. Using AutoSizer, you can set those windows to automatically maximize every time they’re opened. It works with almost any program, including web browsers, Notepad, etc. AutoSizer stays running in the system tray (next to the time), so it stays out of your way while it works.

    THANK YOU. . .

    Alice !!

Thank you very much for sharing the mvps.org link above. I have been looking for a way to d/l my choice of browser (IE 5.01 w/sp2) and be able to burn it for a very long time.

It took over 4 hours to d/l all 79.66mb of it and about 2 minutes to burn it but the next time I 'format' this beast I will be finished much faster than in the past. Super !!

You have made my life, and the lives of the blind (namely my friends and relatives) being led by the blind (namely me) much simpler !! :D

Thanks again ! I will pass this site on to many others !!

    Hi Mike,

Glad I helped you out :)

Here is the "front door" to Sandi's site:

Her place is one of my first stops when I have Internet Explorer questions.
