I just recently started having a problem with saving certain cookies, I can't log in to Gaia Online, Neopets, and a few others. I was able to log in to Mod The Sims 2 but when I try to download something it tells me I'm not allowing cookies so I can't. I have made sure all my settings allow cookies, so I know that's not the problem.

    ez4u2nv - Welcome to the Board :)

At what level?- Tools > Internet Options > Privacy

Have you checked out your security software to ensure that it is not blocking some types of cookies?

Have you tried adding those sites to the Trusted Zone?

As it is your first time here I have edited your thread title without penalty :)

Yes, I tried at the Tools > Internet Options > Privacy level. I tried switching anti virus programs to see if that was the problem and when that didn't work I removed it all together and tried to log in to those sites and I still couldn't get any of them to log in or stay logged in.

Thanks for fixing the thread title.

I have two further suggestions .....

    Back up your cookies .....

Internet Explorer > File > Import/Export Cookies > Export Cookies

Then download CCleaner , configure it to clear out Internet Explorer items only and run it. This will also clear out the index.dat files in IE which may possibly be corrupted. Test - if still no joy import your cookies back in and ....

Try Firefox - if that works the problem is probably with IE, if it does not I would look at firewall/antimalware software settings.

I tried the CCleaner and that did not work , so I took your advice about FireFox. That worked so I reinstalled IE and everything seems to be corrected. Thank you for the help. :D
