Maynecat - Welcome to the Board :)

Simply posting a bald dump data log is not very helpful unless you post the nature of the problem too. I can see the problem, but I want to hear it from you.

There are symbol problems in your log - please follow the instructions here and post another log .....

    my apologies

I am sorry for not explain further. I did follow the instructions to from the link you sent which is how I knew to post the previous dump.

I have a two year old Dell XPS 400. I installed Cakewalk (a resource hog music program) and a Dell810 printer within the last couple of weeks. It wasn't until I installed Cakewalk that I started getting the blue screen of death error. The error message being

    Invalid_process_attach_attempt

    With a

    Stop: 0x00000005

Are there other details that will assist with a diagnosis?

First of all our standard rider for all dump logs ......
    However ....

You do have a symbol problem ....
You must be connected to the Internet while running the debugger.

Is this a one off or repeating problem? If the blue screens are ongoing please post some more dump logs and ....
I found this in the MS Knowledge Base ....

You receive the Stop error "Stop 0x05 (INVALID_PROCESS_ATTACH_ATTEMPT)" in Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2003 - it may apply.

I noted the following in your log ....
    Call of Duty executable.
    Loaded with several games.
A module for the Miles Sound System Library used by WinAmp and other multimedia applications for audio playback and sound effects.

I guess you have a number of games loaded, but there is no indication that they are the cause.

We need a complete dump log with no symbol errors, so please try again :)
