    This is probably very easy to correct...but every time I load a program to my computer, the icon appears on the desktop of all users. How can I make the icons only display on the desktop of the user who loads or uses the program?

    The person that wrote the application decides where the icons go. Many application put the shortcut in the ALL User Desktop folder. Only thing you can do it moce it from there to your folder.
